“Pendragons have had a very successful 2024/25 Season and are a vibrant and inclusive club with now over 100 paddlers.
They cater to a diverse group including sports paddlers, Dragons Abreast members, and social paddlers, promoting camaraderie, fitness, and fun.
The club competes at local, state, nat
ional, and international levels, showcasing a strong commitment to the sport and community. Pendragons have consistently participated in many regattas and festivals.
This year Pendragons have achieved great results medaling for the first time at Auschamps! Two Pendragons paddlers, Jannine and Maddie, competed at the World Championships in Germany. Jannine won 3 silver medals and 1 bronze, and Maddie brought home 4 bronze medals—a huge achievement for the club.
In giving the award DBNSW achnowledged how the club had grown and how Pendragons were always available to help with boat moving etc at SIRC
